Objetivo

To introduce the basic adaptive control designs by giving an overview of the recent development in this topic. Design methodologies based on Lyapunov, passivity and contraction analysis are employed for adaptive control system development. Examples from mechanical, electrical engineering as well as recent applications in emerging areas are used to illustrate the design methodologies.
